Meters

Since metered customers use less water than non-metered customers, the adoption of a water meter program encourages and facilitates water conservation.  It also ensures fairness to rate payers as the customer pays for the water that they use.

Metered customers have the ability to monitor daily usage and to check for leaks.  By learning how to read your meter, you will be able to determine the amount of water you are using for your activities and also to quickly see if you have a leak that needs to be fixed.
